Michael Vener, DMD
Dr. Vener is a highly enthusiastic and energetic professional with a passion for learning and clinical expertise. He practices all aspects of the field of periodontics including: advanced treatment for periodontal disease to help you retain your dentition, periodontal plastic surgery to enhance your smile and dental implants to replace missing teeth.
Dr. Vener received his Bachelor of Health Sciences from Lock Haven University in 1994 and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999. Following completion of his dental degree, Dr. Vener joined the US Navy where he served as a general dentist, both state-side and overseas. In 2003, Dr. Vener pursued advanced training in Periodontics and implants through a three-year surgical residency at the Naval Post-Graduate Dental School. He received his certificate in 2006 and achieved Board certification with the American Board of periodontology in 2007. Dr. Vener left active military service in 2009 but has continued his affiliation with the US Navy Reserves where he currently serves as the Senior dentist for a medical unit and as the Navy Reserves Periodontics specialty leader.
On a personal note, Dr. Vener resides in Enola, PA with his family. He brings his enthusiasm home to his family through their love of travel, reading and outdoor activities of all kinds.
