Peggie – Office Manager
As a longtime resident of Bucks County, Peggie has been in the dental profession since 1985. Peggie began her career as a treatment coordinator and currently is the office manager. Peggie’s approach as a manager is to create a profound connectedness to our patients, to assure patient satisfaction. Peggie has worked with the same staff for almost 30 years and has enjoyed training and learning from the great staff. Peggie also has enjoyed our patients that have been with our practice for many years.
Peggie has been happily married for over 35 years, has three daughters and five grandchildren. She enjoys movies and spending time with her family.
Debbie G– Assistant Office Manager
Debbie graduated from Delaware Dental School for Dental Assisting in 1991 with a 4.0 average. She started working with the Dentists of Newtown the same year and is proficient in all aspects of General Dentistry as well as all specialties.
Debbie started her career with The Dentists of Newtown as the Clinical Supervisor and is currently Assistant Manager to our multi group practice, working closely with our amazing staff. Debbie enjoys bird watching and is amazed at all of the wonders of nature and how all animals intertwine. She particularly loves wildcats, the Bengal tiger being the most amazing to her.
Ann Marie Lalinski - Bookkeeper
Ann Marie, an integral member of our Dentists of Newtown family, has worked in the accounting field for over 30 years. While you may not see Ann Marie front and center in our office on your visits to our practice, Ann Marie is behind the scenes keeping our practice on track and current in the bookkeeping department.
In her spare time, Ann Marie enjoys her beach home, spending time with her grandchildren and exploring genealogy.
Ginny – Treatment Coordinator
Ginny has been a treatment coordinator with the practice for over 25 years. She helps our patients with insurance questions and has a gift for remembering all our patients. She enjoys watching the families of our patients and staff grow. She lives with her family and enjoys her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and pets.
Katie – Treatment Coordinator
Katie has been with the practice for 20 years. She is a treatment coordinator for our front desk staff and is also a dental assistant. She lives in Holland with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Debbie J – Treatment Coordinator
Debbie has been with the Dentists of Newtown for 8 years as a treatment coordinator with a total of 16 years experience in the dental field. She loves all aspects of her job which includes processing of pre authorizations and especially interacting with our patients. She and her husband live locally in Bucks County, have 3 children and just became a grandmother on Christmas Day 2015! She is an avid animal lover and advocate, especially with dogs. She has 2 rescued dogs, one of which is now a certified therapy dog, that she takes to Doylestown Hospital to visit patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and crocheting.
Keyna Crawford, RDH
Keyna has more than 30 years of experience in dental hygiene; she graduated from Temple University in 1975. She continues to participate in continuing education courses, conferences, and seminars on a regular basis to stay current with the most recent advances and developments in the dental field. She also stays informed through publications and peer discussion, and she renews her certification in CPR every two years. Keyna is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and Pickering Manor Auxiliary, and she is on the board of directors of the Newtown Historic Association. For each patient at The Dentists of Newtown, she strives to deliver quality oral care and educate our patients in optimum oral health.
Keyna and her husband, Casey, have been married for 37 years. They have two sons, Kevin (29) and Kyle (26). One of Keyna’s favorite hobbies is quilting.
Kathy Doyle, RDH
Kathy graduated from Council Rock High School, then went on to attend Montgomery County Community College, where she graduated with her degree in dental hygiene in 1982. She has been practicing dental hygiene in the area for more than 30 years, yet she continues to advance her knowledge in dentistry on a yearly basis to stay up to date with the latest developments. Kathy’s greatest goal is to provide optimal and gentle care for her patients while educating them to a healthy smile. She enjoys being involved in the community and has volunteered for Sealant Saturday.
Kathy is the mother of two daughters and two stepchildren, and she has three grandchildren as well. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, biking and vacationing at the shore with her family.
Karin Halikman, RDH
As a longtime resident of Newtown, Karin has been in the dental profession since 1993, when she first began as a trained dental assistant with the same core group of dentists here at The Dentists of Newtown. Wanting to further her career, she pursued a degree in dental hygiene. Karin graduated with an Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in 1998. Since graduating, she has felt privileged to continue her employment as a dental hygienist with our group of dentists and colleagues to this day. Karin is always active in furthering her knowledge of her profession by regularly attending and participating in continuing education classes. She finds it important to be in touch with current dental trends and updates.
Karin’s approach as a dental hygienist is to be gentle but thorough. She realizes that the dental chair is no one’s favorite place to be, yet it is so important to our overall health. She strives to provide compassion and detailed explanations of what needs to be done in order to make the patient feel their most comfortable. Karin always works to educate our patients in proper home care and habits to help them achieve better oral health. She feels any tidbit of information can possibly be a motivator to help our patients when they leave the office.
Karin has been happily married to her husband, Jeff, for 17 years. They are parents to three wonderful children, Noelle, Charles, and James, who keep them busy yet beyond happy on a daily basis! When Karin is not at a baseball field, basketball court, or track/cross country course for her children’s activities, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, hiking, music, the beach, and traveling with her family.
Carrie Ward, RDH
Carrie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State in 2003. She then attended dental hygiene school at the Community College of Philadelphia, graduating in 2006. Carrie works to provide quality dental care to all of our patients and to educate them on proper oral hygiene and other aspects of their dental needs. Her highest priority is that every patient have an experience that is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. To stay abreast of the latest advances and research in dentistry, Carrie takes at least 20 credits of continuing education every two years, in addition to renewing her certification in CPR every two years.
In her spare time, Carrie enjoys reading, physical fitness, dancing, and traveling.
Kim Baltzer, RDH
Kim has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Beginning as a dental assistant, she continued on to receive her degree in dental hygiene from Manor College in Jenkintown, PA. In 2013, she returned to Manor to receive her Local Anesthesia license. Kim strives to give her patients a thorough, yet gentle cleaning.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and daughter. Also, biking has become her new favorite hobby after completing her 1st Tour de Shore over the summer.
Donna – Clinical Staff Supervisor
Donna Schumann attended Prodent Dental Careers and has been a Dental Assistant for over 25 years. Donna specializes assisting in Oral Surgery and Periodontics. She lives in Perkasie with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves to bake, read and spend time with her family enjoying the outdoors.
Jeanne -Dental Assistant
Jeanne is the newest Dental Assistant in our practice, starting in June of 2015, although she has been assisting since January 2012. Jeanne says of her experience with our practice, "The Dentist of Newtown is a wonderful place to work, full of highly talented and caring professionals. Mostly I love getting to know our patients and watching their smile transform; it is the most rewarding experience helping someone."
Originally from Delaware County, Jeanne moved here a few years ago. Jeanne adds about her job at our Newtown office "Bucks County is such a beautiful place to raise my family. In my spare time I love spending time with my son. I can't wait to meet you!"
Angela – Dental Assistant
Angela has been a Dental Assistant since 2006, she is cross trained in all aspects of Dentistry. She enjoys working with the specialists. In her spare time she enjoys running, and spending time at the beach with her adorable son.
Colleen – Dental Assistant
Colleen has lived in Bucks County for 25 years, and has been a Dental Assistant since 2006. Colleen enjoys working with the specialists here in our office. Her main priority is to make patients feel comfortable and at ease at their visit. Colleen has two beautiful daughters and a supportive husband. In her spare time she enjoys going for runs, reading and spending time with her children outdoors on the quad. Colleen is madly in love with her “BULLDOG” Cash.
Becky – Dental Assistant
Becky has been working in the dental field for over twenty years. Trained in all aspects of dentistry from general dentistry, periodontics to oral surgery. She works at both locations Sycamore to Durham rd. In her free time she loves spending time with her children. Enjoys cooking, trying new recipes and discovering new restaurants.
Tara – Dental Assistant
Tara resides in Bucks County, and has been with the practice for 20 years. She has grown with the practice as a treatment coordinator and recently went back to school and has graduated from Bucks County Technical School in 2014 as a dental assistant. Her passion is making patients feel comfortable during their dental treatment. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. Tara spends her summers at the beach and enjoys running, reading, and plans to further her education in dentistry.
